2026 NOLA Zydeco Fest Poster (3 Sizes Available)

This is the original painting behind the official 2026 NOLA Zydeco Fest poster, created by New Orleans artist Christina Pappion. It brings together three pillars of Louisiana's musical soul. At its center, zydeco accordionist Rusty Metoyer drives the rhythm that keeps the dance floor moving. Beside him, vocalist Robin Barnes, the "Songbird of New Orleans," lifts the melody with her unmistakable voice.

Surrounding them, the Mardi Gras Indians appear in hand-sewn suits of beads and feathers, a living tradition of pride and artistry passed down through generations of New Orleans families.

Together these figures tell one story: Louisiana Creole culture, alive in music, dance, and masking. Bold color and movement pull the viewer straight into the celebration.
This one-of-a-kind original is the source work for the 2026 festival poster and its limited-edition print collection. It is signed by the artist.
